President’s Message

It is a tremendous honor to serve as the President of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (NJACEP). I am deeply grateful for the trust my colleagues have placed in me, and I am inspired by the opportunity to represent and advocate for emergency physicians across our state.

New Jersey has been home to my medical journey – I did my residency here and, since then, have had the privilege of practicing at multiple hospitals across the state. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges we face as emergency physicians in New Jersey, as well as the incredible resilience, skill, and dedication that define our specialty.

Emergency medicine stands at the front lines of patient care, meeting people at their most vulnerable moments. As emergency physicians, we provide lifesaving care while navigating an increasingly complex healthcare environment—balancing patient needs, resource challenges, and evolving policy landscapes. Now more than ever, our specialty requires a strong voice and united leadership.

NJACEP has a proud tradition of excellence, and I am excited to build on that foundation. I invite every member—whether seasoned physician, resident, or medical student—to remain actively engaged in shaping the future of emergency medicine in New Jersey. I’m enthusiastic about connecting with each of you, at our upcoming events, where I can hear your thoughts, and explore how we can advance emergency medicine together.
