New Jersey ACEP Awards
In 1999, the NJ-ACEP Board of Directors approved creation of a new NJ-ACEP Awards Program to recognize leadership and excellence among the members in the New Jersey chapter. The program provides an opportunity to recognize all members for their significant professional contributions as well as service to the Chapter and to the College. All members of the Chapter are eligible to participate in one or more of the Chapter’s award programs.
Annually, the NJ-ACEP President will appoint an Awards Committee, to be comprised of three NJ-ACEP members, representing diverse areas geographically and in terms of practice (large group, hospital-based, etc.) The President and Executive Director shall serve in an ex-officio, non-voting capacity. The Committee will be responsible for promoting the awards program, approving the nomination application form, soliciting nominations, reviewing nominations, developing an integral scoring process and selecting the winners in each category. Each individual can receive only one award in any given year. Winners will be informed shortly after the deadline and will be presented during the NJ-ACEP Scientific Assembly. Completed applications must be sent to NJ ACEP Executive Director Michelle Parker via email by no later than September 2.
